So the temperature might be dipping in most of Europe and the US but some of us just refuse to step out of the sun. December might almost be upon us but in the tropics (pay close attention all my readers in India, Dubai, Singapore, Bali and Australia) there’s no room for winter. Which is why, I continue to sport my favourite summer picks for men’s fashion
So I’m stepping out for a few errands today and here’s what I’m sporting. And just because you’re on the beach, remember that you can NEVER be shabby or unkempt. That’s just not cool!
I take my men’s fashion very seriously and therefore I am always accessorised properly. A pair of super comfy blue and white striped shorts that make me feel oh-so-summery. (Zara) Don’t forget — if you’re shorts are printed, striped or checked…your tee-shirt should ideally be basic! And of course, remember it’s all about the right length and fabric. Not too short to look obscene, not too long to look sloppy! You don’t want people in your neighbourhood to think you’ve stepped down in your swimming trunks, do you?
This charming pair of anchor printed flip flops. (Cotton On). I’d say a nice bright pair of these always looks fun. I’ve got a pair of brown GAP flip flops that I am tired of so here goes.
And last but not the least, my favourite trend for this season…my coloured wayfarers. (Cotton On)
(watch out for upcoming posts on shorts and wayfarers).
All this, paired with a basic block coloured tee make this look the sophisticated cousin of the often shabby boardshots and sleeveless tank look.
If you’re going for a longer walk…maybe trade the flip flops for a pair of boat shoes like this..and you’re good to go…
