There’s a new player in the online shopping space in India. Trendin.com, started by Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, is the latest e-commerce multi-brand portal to appear in the Indian market. Showcasing products for men, women and children, all of Madura’s brands are now available under one roof, or should we say under one domain name. From Allen Solly and Louis Philippe to Peter England and Van Heusen, the choice is vast and impressive. In addition, I was pretty impressed by the quirky tee-shirt offerings of Arvind’s lesser known brands like People, Rig and JM Sport.
I spent some time on the website, going through the products on sale and even managed to shop for a few interesting finds. Read on to find out my shopping experience at Trendin.com, a review of the customer interface, followed by three looks that I put together from the stuff that I shopped on the site.
I made my selection and the stuff reached me within three days as promised. Scroll down to see the three looks that I put together from my Trendin.com shopping bag.
My verdict on Trendin.com: Poised to become the next big online shopping destination, Trending.com has a very impressive offering. What works for it is the gamut of brands under its umbrella, offering endless choices and possibilities to its customers. What’s more, I found it to be rather pocket friendly, without eliminating more premium garments from brands like, say, Louis Philippe. Besides, Trendin seems to have got its filters and choice-narrowing options for each garment down pat.
On the downside, the website interface could use a bit of a rethink especially in terms of over-responsiveness of some of the click-options. The slightest move of the cursor could lead to windows and drop-down menus popping open, leaving you confused and sometimes even leading you to another page.
Would I shop here again? Most certainly.
